Quality Checklist by Phase

Site Preparation
  • Site cleared and leveled properly
  • Soil test conducted and approved
  • Building lines set out accurately
  • Excavation depth matches specifications
Foundation Construction
  • Foundation trenches at correct depth and width
  • Hardcore properly compacted
  • Concrete mix ratio correct (1:2:4 or as specified)
  • Reinforcement bars properly placed and tied
  • Damp proof course (DPC) installed correctly

Walls & Columns
  • Walls plumb and level
  • Mortar mix ratio correct (1:4 or as specified)
  • Columns properly reinforced
  • Wall thickness as per drawings
Slabs & Beams
  • Formwork properly braced and level
  • Reinforcement spacing correct
  • Concrete cover adequate
  • Concrete properly cured (minimum 7 days)

  • Roof trusses properly installed and braced
  • Iron sheets gauge 30 or as specified
  • Proper overlap of iron sheets
  • Ridge capping installed correctly
  • Gutters and downpipes properly fixed
  • No leaks or gaps

Plastering & Rendering
  • Walls smooth and even
  • Corners sharp and straight
  • No cracks or bulges
Flooring
  • Floor level and smooth
  • Tiles properly aligned
  • No hollow sounds when tapped
Painting
  • Surfaces properly prepared
  • Minimum 2 coats applied
  • Even color and finish

  • All electrical installations tested and working
  • Plumbing system leak-free
  • Doors and windows open/close smoothly
  • All fixtures and fittings installed
  • Site cleaned and debris removed
  • Final inspection by county officials passed
  • Occupancy certificate obtained
